Why I created the Stefan Joubert Guitar Academy

The Stefan Joubert Guitar Academy was created specifically to provide adults from all over the world with excellent guitar lessons.

I have been teaching guitar for over 20 years and have a lot of experience teaching adults how to play the guitar. I discovered that there is a specific method for assisting adults in learning at their optimal pace. Adult learners, unlike children, require a lot of nurturing and a patient approach. Furthermore, it is beneficial if they learn the nature of the instrument from the start.

I am the principal of several schools. I founded LGI, the S&C Guitar Academy in Dubai, and the Institut de Musique de Paris in Central Paris. Certain truths about learning to play the instrument have come to light in my experience. Most adult learners are more than capable of making excellent progress. All they need is someone to show them the ropes, to show them how things work.

That is why I founded the Stefan Guitar Academy.

I wanted to share my enthusiasm and skills with adults all over the world. As a result, I’m now offering high-quality, top-tier guitar lessons for adults via Zoom. I’ve discovered that the technology, combined with the ability to share both audio and visual material, can be an extremely efficient way of learning how to play the instrument.
